Urdu lovers call on Madhya Pradesh Governor







Acquaint him of problems faced by Urdu and Muslim institutions
Bhopal, January 10, 2013 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): A delegation of Urdu lovers called on Madhya Pradesh governor Shri Ram Naresh Yadav at Raj Bhavan yesterday. The delegation comprised editor of Muslim Samachar Mr. Riyaz Khan, famous Urdu poet and writer Mr Muslim Saleem, Mr Abdul Hameed, advocate and others.

During the meeting, Mr Riyaz Khan presented latest edition of Muslim Samachar to the Governor, who had a word of praise for it. Mr Riyaz, who is also a former founder member of Madhya Pradesh Madrasa Board also, informed the Governor about problems being faced by some Urdu and Muslim institutions of the state. The Governor assured to look into the matter and gave necessary directives to his staff in this regard.

Mr Muslim Saleem gave information about general scenario of Urdu teaching in the state while General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema Madhya Pradesh Mr Abdul Hameed advocate threw on light conditions prevailing in Madrasas of the state.
